Homemade Vanilla IceCream

Hey what is up you guys, Chef Dae in the house today and everyone loves ice cream right? Comment down below on what flavor of ice cream you like? Anyways, wouldn’t it be cool if you like to make YOUR OWN favorite ice cream? Well your dream just came true and you have come to the right website. So lets get cooking. The following ingredients are:

  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 1/4 cup milk
  • Milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Stir sugar, cream, and milk into a saucepan over low heat until sugar has dissolved. Heat just until mix is hot and a small ring of foam appears around the edge.
  2. Transfer cream mixture to a pourable container such as a large measuring cup. Stir in vanilla extract and chill mix thoroughly, at least 2 hours. (Overnight is best.)
  3. Pour cold ice cream mix into an ice cream maker, turn on the machine, and churn according to manufacturer’s directions, 20 to 25 minutes.
  4. When ice cream is softly frozen, serve immediately or place a piece of plastic wrap directly on the ice cream and place in freezer to ripen, 2 to 3 hours.

Chick Fil A Lemonade

Hey what is up you guys Chef Dae in the house today and everyone loves Chick Fil A right? i If you say yes, you are awesome. Comment down what you get from there. But I’m going to talk about the drinks. Mostly which is popular is is the chick fil a lemonade. So yea, I’m going to tell you guys. The reason I got this idea is from my best friend Rashelle: www.kidolsnewswordpress.wordpress.com. Anyways lets start cooking. The following ingredients are

  • 8-10 Sunkist lemons (that is what Chick-fil-a uses)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (or Splenda for the diet version)
  • 5 1/2 cup water

Ingredients:

  1. Juice lemons so you end up with 1½ cups of lemon juice.
  2. Add lemon juice to a pitcher and whisk with the sugar until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Add water and whisk until well combined.
  4. Refrigerate until nice and cold. Enjoy!
  5. Serves 4-6

Vanilla Cake

What is up you guys Chef Dae in the house today and as you guys know Easter is right around the corner and what better way to celebrate Easter? Dessert of course! Cake! Vanilla Cake to be exact. So today you guys I’m going to make vanilla cake. Its one of my favorite desserts and I would like to tell you this recipe because I hope you guys would enjoy this. This recipe seems easy but also I’m writing this for beginner chefs. Anyways, lets start cooking. The following ingredients are:

  • 1 cup of  white sugar
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cup of all purpose flour
  • 1 1/3 of baking powder
  • 1/2 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour 9×9 inch pan or line a muffin pan with paper lines.
  2. In a medium bowl, cream the sugar and butter. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir the vanilla. Combine flour and baking powder, add the cream mixture and mix well. Finally stir in the milk  until batter is smooth. Pour or spoon batter into prepared pan.
  3. Bake to 30 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven. The cake will be ready when it will springs back to the front.

Chicken Pot Pie

What is up you guys, Chef Dae in the house today I’m going to make a recipe. My mom had made this recipe before but I wanted to share it with you guys. The recipe is called Chicken Pot Pie. You can get this at your local fast food recipe. Take KFC for example, you can get Chicken Pot Pie there as well. You can make your own at home as well too. Let me stop talking and lets get cooking! The following ingredients are:

For the crust:

  • 1 box Pillsbury refrigerated pie crusts, softened as directed on box

For the filling:

  •  1/3 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 3/4 cups Progresso chicken broth ( from 32-oz carton)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded cooked chicken or turkey
  • 2 cup frozen mixed vegetables, thawed

 

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 425°F. Make pie crusts as directed on box for Two-Crust Pie using 9-inch glass pie pan.
  2. In 2-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion; cook 2 minutes, stirring frequently, until tender. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until well blended. Gradually stir in broth and milk, cooking and stirring until bubbly and thickened.
  3. Stir in chicken and mixed vegetables. Remove from heat. Spoon chicken mixture into crust-lined pan. Top with second crust; seal edge and flute. Cut slits in several places in top crust.
  4. Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown. During last 15 to 20 minutes of baking, cover crust edge with strips of foil to prevent excessive browning. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Homemade Marshmellow Peeps

What is up you guys, Chef Dae in the house today and I know Easter is right around the corner so today I have realized some of you guys like Peeps so would it be cool if you can make your own. Lets start cooking!  Before we begin the  steps the person who gave me the idea is my good friend Sam. His website is www.samuelneildgamer.wordpress.com. His game reviews are awesome. Now, lets start cooking! The following ingredients: haha its yer boi, Dave_Rulez123 and u got hacked

  • 1 cup sugar for each color, in Ziplock bag
  • food coloring,
  • 1 packet gelatin
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • cocoa powder + tiny bit of water, optional – for eyes

Directions

  1. In mixer bowl, put ⅓ cup cold water.
  2. Empty packet of gelatin over water and let sit while you make sugar mixture.
  3. In saucepan, combine 1 cup sugar and ¼ cup water.
  4. Swirl to combine well.
  5. Using a candy thermometer, heat over medium heat until it reaches soft ball stage (238 F).
  6. Do not stir during this process. If crystals form on pan walls, use brush with water to dissolve it back down.
  7. When at 238 F, remove from heat and slowly pour into mixer bowl with gelatin.
  8. Stir by hand for a couple minute to break any gelatin lumps.
  9. When cooled slightly, place on mixer with whisk attachment and combine at medium-high speed until white and somewhat stiff. About 8-9 minutes.
  10. Immediately transfer to large piping bag (14″ works well) with ½” tip. Alternatively, use gallon Ziplock bag with corner cut.
  11. With colored sugar in a shallow dish, pipe chick shapes directly into the sugar. If the shape doesn’t hold, let the mixture cool for a minute or two and try again.

Simple Mango Smoothie

What is up you guys Chef Dae in the house today and I’m going to make a delicious drink for you guys. It is Mango Smoothie. Its one of my favorite drinks of all time. I love it! So I thought of bring it to you guys. So lets start cooking. The following ingredients are:

  • 1/2 cup of mango, diced, frozen
  • 2/3 cup skim milk or 2/3 cup soy milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar 1/2 teaspoon honey, more to taste

Directions:

  1. In a blender, combine frozen  mango, milk and sugar.
  2. Whirl until mixture is smooth, adding a bit more milk if needed.
  3. Serve.
  4.  (Note :  To make a larger smoothie or to make  more servings,  just use equal amounts mango and milk, plus sugar to taste.

Oreo Truffles

What is up you guys, Chef Dae in the house today and today I’m making a recipe that was suggested by my best friend, once again Rashelle. If you forgot her website it is: www.kidolsnewswordpress.wordpress.com She does J-Pop and K-Pop news and! Go check her out, her website is amazing! Okay so lets get cooking. The following ingredients are:

  • 1 package ( 8 oz.) brick cream cheese
  • 36 Oreo cookies, finely crushed, divided
  • 4 packages  ( 4 oz. each) semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted

 

Directions:

  1. Mix cream cheese and 3 cups cookie crumbs until well blended.
  2. Shape into 48 ( 1 inch) balls. Dip into melted chocolate;  place on waxed paper-covered baking sheet. Sprinkle with remaining cookie crumbs.
  3. Refrigerate 1 hour of until firm. Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.

Monkey Bread

What is up you guys Chef Dae in the house and today  I got a special recipe for you guys. So  me and my best friend,  Rashelle were talking and I was wondering what I should do for my next blog. We decided that I should do monkey bread. Also, if you would like to see my best friend, Rashelle blog her is:www.kidolsnewswordpress.wordpress.com.  Her blog is full of K-Idols and J-Idols stuff, so check it out!  My family and I love monkey bread we have it every Christmas on Thanksgiving, its kind of like a tradition as well. Okay guys so lets start cooking. The following ingredients:

  • 3/4  cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 3 cans refrigerated biscuits (8-10 in each can)

Toppings:

  • 1/3 lb. ( 1 stick) of butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

 

Directions:

  1. Pour sugar, cinnamon, and nuts in paper or plastic bag. Shake to mix.
  2. Cut each biscuit into quarters. Add a few biscuit pieces to bag. Shake until dough is well coated. Repeat until all biscuits are coated.
  3. Pour coated biscuit quarters into a buttered tube or bundt pan. Arrange neatly.
  4. Melt butter in  saucepan. Stir sugar and vanilla into melted butter. Crumble over top of dough mixture.
  5.  Bake at 35o F for 25-35 minutes
